About me

I've been working with the English language for over fifteen years. Following a career in magazine and newspaper journalism, I began teaching English, both as a second language and an academic subject. My work as a tutor involved teaching various elements of the English language to a wide range of students, from school pupils to corporate employees.

While living in Hong Kong, I started my own editing business. I regularly worked on academic papers with scholars and PhD students via the business arm of Poly University. Outside of academia, I edited articles, website copy, magazine articles and brochures for clients in business and commercial sectors.

Today, I am primarily focused on editing and writing.

I’m currently based in the UK, but I work remotely with clients around the world.
